I went to the Owyhee Desert
To remember why I am free
I ran across a wild mustang
And a Magpie soaring
On the breeze he floated
As the Mustang grazed

A chance meeting for the three of us
At this majestic place
I found myself quite
As I listened to the breeze
Then I remembered
Why I am free
